Amcor offers a wide range of polylaminate skirt materials which are delivered with pre-lacquer adapted to printing technology (flexo or rotogravure) and inks (nitrocellulosic or vinyl).
Structure: Lacquer (primer)/Aluminium foil/PE coextruded layer/Aluminium foil/Lacquer
Aluminium thickness range:
- 20μm – 30μm on both sides for still wine;
- 9μm – 20μm on both sides for sparkling wine
Material with mechanical properties, dedicated for spin down process
- specific coextrusion (PE based)
- large range of PE thickness (35 to 70 µm)
- excellent PE thickness control due to in-line control all over the width
Amcor has developed Alutin® – a new, strong material with soft touch that combines premium look with attractive cost, available for both still and sparkling wine capsules.
